Walking doesn’t sound as manly as running? Neither does limping around from a strain because you were too “manly” to walk… it’s just stupid!

Even seasoned athletes start an exercise program slowly if they’re out of shape, and gradually increase intensity until they reach their goal. So, you’ll be in good company out there. Here’s a tip for you single guys wanting to get into shape… it’s a heck of a lot easier to meet-and-greet  gals while walking. Think about it, guys… you’re sweaty, out of breath, exhausted. So, you’ve decided to repaint the kitchen. And, you’re a DIY kinda guy – or gal. Just in case it’s been a while since your last paint job, check out these tips before your start this do-it-yourself project.

When you remove the pictures, decorative shelves, knickknacks, and pot racks, don’t be surprised at all the nail and screw holes, and cracks, and bumps, and… Well, you get the picture. The walls are going to be a mess.

It’s mighty tempting to just start painting over all that mess, not to mention the dirt and grimy cooking grease and splashes. This is where you have to just toughen up and do it right. It’s bad enough having to doing it once – and you certainly don’t want to waste your efforts just because of a little extra prep work! (Trust me… it’s definitely not worth it!)
