When you remove the pictures, decorative shelves, knickknacks, and pot racks, don’t be surprised at all the nail and screw holes, and cracks, and bumps, and… Well, you get the picture. The walls are going to be a mess.
It’s mighty tempting to just start painting over all that mess, not to mention the dirt and grimy cooking grease and splashes. This is where you have to just toughen up and do it right.
